Wonderfold Wagon
I have to start this post by saying that I didn't actually purchase the Wonderfold Wagon, it was a Christmas gift from my in-laws. That being said, this is probably one of the most used Christmas gifts I have ever received.
I know that the Wonderfold Wagon is pricey. I have the W4 which has 4 seats and will run you about $600. I also have the extended handle which is about $50. For my family, the extended handle is a necessity because my husband is 6' 8". I know other people who do not have the extended handle and have had no issue.
In the W4 version of this wagon, it has two sets of two seats that clip on to the sides of the wagon. It also has a shade that can be very simply removed. There are pockets in the front of the wagon and on each side. The front of this wagon also unzips so that your kids can get in and out by themselves. (I have never used this feature because I don't want my kids getting in and out by themselves.) I only have 2 kids so I usually put in one seat and then use the extra space for toys, ice chests, backpacks, etc. Occasionally, I will have my nephews and my girls all in the wagon at the same time. Ages almost 4, 3, 1, and 1. We never have any problem with leg room. I love that the seats are up off of the bottom of the wagon. It gives the kids more room and it allows you to store things under the seat.
I use this wagon way more than I ever thought I would. The wagon is super easy to push, as long as your forty pound toddler is not wiggling around. I use it for walks around our neighborhood, going to the zoo, amusement parks, pumpkin patches, you name it. I was afraid that it was going to be really wide and hard to take places but it isn't as wide as side by side strollers. Everywhere that I go people stop me and ask me where I got this wagon. The ability to push the wagon instead of pull it makes bringing it everywhere much easier. Pushing the wagon is much easier to control than pulling a traditional wagon.
This wagon easily fits in the back of my minivan. It also fit in the trunk of my Nissan Rogue. It is very simple to fold up, and fit in both of those cars without removing the handle. The seats come out and the cover comes off before you fold up the wagon. It is a little bit heavy, but I can load it in to the back of my car without any assistance.
I have really enjoyed this wagon but the big question is... Is it worth $600? I know I would have a hard time talking myself into spending $600 on a wagon. That being said this wagon is worth every penny. I use this wagon multiple times a week. When I go to the zoo I can have my kids on one side and a cooler on the other. (That comes in handy during the summer.) When I go to First Monday Trade Days I am able to have a seat for my babies and plenty of space for all the fun stuff we find. I also take it to my husband's softball games and let my one year old, who isn't quite walking, play with her toys in it.
I've included several pictures of us using the wagon to show how much we really use it.
